AP GO 378, Dt. 05-08-2015 Visit of the Hon’ble Minister for Human Resource Development, Government of Andhra Pradesh and other delegates to certain Universities in Punjab and Uttar Pradesh States

 The Government of Andhra Pradesh is taking several initiatives in rebuilding its position as a global player in Higher Education in the context of bifurcation, which had taken place a year ago.  Education is one of the seven missions in   agenda to convert the State into a ‘Knowledge Society’ by reinforcing education institutions. The government has proposed to have firsthand information on the success stories of some of universities/ institutions across India.

2. In the above backdrop, it is proposed that a eight (08) member delegation headed by Sri Ganta Srinivas Rao, Hon’ble Minister for Human Resource Development,Government of Andhra Pradesh will visit Lovely Professional University, Jalandar;  AMITY University, Noida and  Shivnadar University, Noida from  09-08-2015 to 11.08.2015.

3. Accordingly, Government hereby depute the following officials to accompany the Hon’ble Minister for Human Resource Development during the above tour.

2. Prof.L.Venugopal Reddy, Chairman, A.P.S.C.H.E., Hyderabad.
3. Smt. Udaya Lakshmi, Commissioner of Technical Education & Collegiate Education,  Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad.
4. Prof.P.Vijaya Prakash, Vice Chairman, A.P.S.C.H.E., Hyderabad.
5. Prof.VVS Kumar, Vice Chancellor,  JNTU, Kakinada.
6. Prof.Narasimhulu, Vice Chancellor, Rayalaseema University, Kurnool
7. Prof. Rajagopal, Vice Chancellor, Sri Krishna Devaraya University, Anantapur
8. Prof.Valli Kumari, Computer Science Department, Andhra University,  Visakhapatnam.

4. The Expenditure for the above tour shall be met from R.U.S.A. funds.
