In the G.O. read above, Government have issued orders declaring 25.11.2015 (Wednesday) as Optional Holiday on the occasion of ‘Karthika Purnima / Gurunanak Jayanthi’.
Further, Government have decided to declare 25.11.2015 (Wednesday) as General Holiday instead of Optional Holiday on the occasion of ‘Karthika Purnima / Gurunanak Jayanthi’. Accordingly, the following notification is issued and shall be published in the extra-ordinary Gazette of Telangana State:

General Holiday Notification 

In partial modification of the orders issued in G.O.Rt.No.995, General Administration (Poll.A) Department, dated 05.11.2014, notifying the General Holidays and Optional Holidays, the Government hereby declare 25.11.2015 (Wednesday) as General Holiday on the occasion of ‘Karthika Purnima / Gurunanak Jayanthi’, instead of Optional Holiday, declared earlier.
