TS Rc 424 Schools Health checking of computers, TS schools Orientation to the MIS Coordinators from 28/12/2015 to 30/12/2015 at District headquarters: DSE, SSA PD, Telangana, Rc.No.424,Dt:21.12.2015, SCERT, Telangana, Hyderabad, ICT in schools, Making computer labs in schools functional, Health checking of computers in schools, Orientation to the MIS Coordinators from the Mandals @1 per Mandal from 28/12/2015 to 30/12/2015 at District headquarters.
All the District Educational Officers and Project Officers of SSA in the State are hereby informed that an orientation programme was conducted to the selected MIS personnel of the Districts i.e. one APO of SSA and ASO from DEO office in addition to four (4) active MIS Coordinators working in MRCs who possess good knowledge on the computers from 01/12/2015 to 03/12/2015 at SCERT. In this regard, it is proposed to conduct the orientation to the Mandal Level MIS persons @1 per Mandal from 28/12/2015 to 30/12/2015 at District headquarters. The persons trained at State Level shall take up the training programme to the MIS persons.
Therefore, the POs of SSA of all the Districts are requested to issue instructions to the MEOs to depute one MIS Coordinator/ Data Entry Operator who are active and familiar with computer technology, from each Mandal to attend the workshop at a identified venue by the Districts concerned as per the scheduled dates mentioned above at 09.30 AM. The programme should be organized in one or two High Schools wherever the computers available so as to impart skill based orientation to MIS Coordinators on health check-up of the computers.
MIS Persons Shall take up the health checkup of computer labs of High Schools, Upper Primary Schools and Primary Schools: After the training programme, the trained MIS persons shall take up the health checkup of computer labs of High Schools, Upper Primary Schools and Primary Schools wherever computers available from 1st to 7th January, 2016 and upload the reports before 10th January, 2016. The format for the health checkup is enclosed and also emailed wherein the MIS persons fill up the formats for each school and upload the details b. Further, a filed plan for health check-up and submission of reports on the dates as above.
The AMO of SSA is In-charge for the programme and monitor it and see that the reports shall be submitted online before 10th January, 2016 without fail. The persons trained at State Level on computer health checkup shall assist him in conducting orientation and taking up of health checkup during 1st week of January. Some Resource Persons from the State Level may be sent to the Districts @1 person per District who can support in conducting the orientation and clarification of doubts if any.
The AMO is requested to prepare 2 or 3 school labs for conducting the training programme and also procure some of the computer peripherals/ cables so as to make these 2 or 3 labs functional to conduct the training programme. The required expenditure for this may be met from the SSA budget available in the Districts. The concerned MEOs may be requested to get 3 to 4 computers from nearby schools to make training successful and return the computers to the schools after training.
The DEOs and POs are requested to make ASO of DEO office and SSA office available in the training programme and assist AMO. The District Level trainers shall monitor the programme in the field during first week of January, 2016 and support the MIS persons in conducting the health checkup. Further, the conveyance charges to the MIS Coordinators for health check-up in the
High Schools may be paid @Rs.50/- per day from District SSA REMS/ management budget.
Mr. Ramabrahmam, Lecturer, Govt. IASE Hyderabad, Mr. Srinivas Reddy, DSO, working at SCERT and Mr. Brahma Chary, ASO, SPO, SSA are requested to monitor the programme of field level health check-up. The TA, DA to them will be paid by the concerned PO, SSA. In case of DEOs and POs of Ranga Reddy, Karimnagar and Warangal are requested to take up the health checkup in all the schools since they have covered on 100 High Schools earlier.
Therefore, the DEOs and POs in the State are requested to take up the computer health checkup work in all the High Schools, Upper Primary Schools, Primary Schools, DIETs wherever computers are available as above and submit the reports online before 10th January, 2016 without fail.
