Andhra University Distance Education Admission 2018-19 UG Application form

Andhra University Distance Education 2018 notification has been released for the admission in the First year of B.A/B.Com courses. Degree Courses for the academic year2018-2019 through the School of Distance Education. Applications are invited from the candidates residing in India for Entrance Examination for distance mode admission into First year B.A./B.Com. Degree Courses in Calendar Year 2018-19 through the School of Distance Education.

Admission of Andhra University Distance Education 2018

Andhra University No minimum educational qualification is required to appear for Examination, except that candidates should have completed 18 years of age by 01-01-2019 Candidates who pass the Entrance examination are eligible for admission into 1st year Bachelor of Arts /B.Com. Course in the School of Distance Education, Andhra University Note: Candidates passing entrance test conducted by any State or Central Universities are also eligible for admissions into B.A/B.Com Degree Courses.

Eligibility of Graduate Courses (Three-Year Duration)

B.A.(Both English and Telugu Media) / B.Com (Both English and Telugu Media); B.Sc. - M.P.C. & CBZ Groups (English Medium), (General English in UG Courses shall have an internal assessment component of 25% marks)

Eligibility for BA/M.Com: Intermediate/PUC/Intermediate of A.P. Open School Society or equivalent/Pass in the Entrance Examination conducted by this School

B.Sc. (English Medium Only) 

Eligibility: Intermediate (with the combination of Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, Computers and Economics) / PUC or equivalent with Physical Science and Mathematics/Intermediates with BiPC (Physics and Chemistry)  

Pattern of Examination :

1. There will be two papers.
2. Each paper is of one hour duration and carries a maximum of 100 marks. All questions are of multiple choice Each question will have four options out of which one is a correct answer.
3. Each question carries Two Marks.
4. The Entrance Examination will be conducted on Sunday in one session from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 Noon.
5. The Examination is common for both B.A. and B.Com.
6. After the Examination is over, candidates is having option to take the question papers. He/She has to handover the Answered Sheet to the Invigilator at the Examination Hall.

1. Paper - I General English General Knowledge and Aptitude 1 Hours 100 Marks 
2. Paper - II Telugu or Hindi or Sanskrit or Urdu or Oriya 1 Hours 100 Marks 

Eligibility 70 Marks

Date of Entrance Examination (Sunday) Cost of Application including Examination Fee by Post Rs. 225 and In Person Rs. 200.

Payment of Examination Fee: The Examination fee included in the cost of the application itself. The downloaded application should be sent along with a D.D. for Rs. 200/- drawn in favor of the Registrar, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, payable at Visakhapatnam on any Nationalized Bank, Cash, Postal Orders, Money Orders, Cheques, and Challans will not be accepted.
