The Government have introduced State awards for women Teachers and decided to honour the best female teachers who have, rendered for their services on the eve of Smt Savitribai Phule Jayanthi 3rd Jan 2019.

Smt Savitribai Phule Jayanthi Celebrations in AP Schools 

As part of this, it is proposed to conduct of celebration of smt savitribhai phule Jayanthi on 3'd January "as women Teachers Day" of every year in the state of Andhra Pradesh as she was the I't women Teacher in India and to introduce state Level women Teacher Awards.

Two Categories awards:

1. Regular/Contract female Teachers from Govt/ Local Body and others
2. Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (Special officers and Contract Resident Teachers from Kasturba Gandhi Balika vidyalayas, PETs/ computer & vocational Instructors and IERTs).

Eligibility:

At least 10 Years of Teaching Experience

Prize Money:

Honored with Cash award Rs.25,000/- Gold plated Silver Medal , a Shawl Tab and a Merit Certificate

Last Date: 24.12.2018

Apply Schedule:

MEOs- 15.12.2018
DyEOs- 18.12.2018
DEOs- 20.12.2018

Teachers from the above institutions of physically and mentally handicapped are also eligible for the Awards provided they fulfill as other prescribed conditions.
