The Telangana and Andra Pradesh State Electricity Control Board (ECC) has recently been permitted to issue bills to the consumers in the current month of April in an alternate manner without taking the meter reading in the backdrop of the state running lockdown for the corona virus control.

The equivalent bill of 50 per cent of the bill issued in April 2019 to the consumers related to the connections of all other types of elty categories (excluding the ELT – 5 agricultural category) which existed by March 2019, will be issued in April 2020.

The equivalent bill of 50 per cent of the bill issued in March 2020 to the consumers relating to the connections of all other types of elty categories (excluding the ELT – 5 agricultural category) issued between April 1 – 2020 and February 29, is issued in April 2020. In other elty category, consumers come in commercial (LC – 2b/2b), Advertising Holdings (LC – 2c), Hair cutting Saloon (LTI – 3d), Industries (LTI – 3), Cottage Industries (LTI – 4 a), agriculture-based Industries (LV – 4b). The bills will be issued in April 2020 on the basis of minimum demand calculations for consumers related to all othr types of elty categories (excluding the ELT – 5 agricultural category) issued in March 2020.

Electricity consumers may Pay their Monthly bill through Online at official website of the Southern Power Distribution Company official website by using Credit Cards/ Debit Cards/ Internet Banking/ Debit Card + ATM PIN.

Customers will be informed of their bills through SMS/mobile apps/websites.
